Frank Mutz

President Emeritus

Since 1973, Frank Mutz has served as president of Moncrief Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. The Moncrief era personified by Frank is known by customers, employees, vendors and licensees for quality work, integrity, reliability, dedication and loyalty. For Frank, success is all about relationships. The key people who helped build Moncrief’s modern era share those values and pass them on to all who come in contact with the company. The employees who made a career with the company adopted the Moncrief way of doing business as their own and helped build a business of which everyone associated can be proud. In 2023, Frank moved into the role of President Emeritus continuing to provide support and guidance to the operational leadership of the company.

Frank was raised in Indianapolis and Chicago. He graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, in 1967, from Bowling Green State University in 1971, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army as a first lieutenant in 1973 before partnering with his father, Tom Mutz I, as the president of Moncrief.

Phil Mutz

General Manager

Phil Mutz is from Atlanta, GA and is a graduate of Woodward Academy and received a B.S. from Colorado State University in Natural Resource Management and a Refrigeration Sciences Degree from Chattahoochee Technical College. Upon graduating college, Phil started at Moncrief as a Service Technician, training under veteran master technicians – learning the business from the ground up. He is now the Vice President of Technical Service and leads regular in-house technical training and assists service and installation technicians with troubleshooting. Phil is also involved with Moncrief business development, management, and marketing efforts. His educational background and personal philosophy has led Moncrief towards a greener future, seeking wholistic, whole-home solutions for our clients where comfort and efficiency compliment each other. In his free time, Phil is frequently out-and-about traveling, playing guitar, and living the Beltline lifestyle.

Jerry wyatt

Sales Manager

Jerry built his career in the fenestration industry, specifically the residential sector of Pella Corporation and commercial and residential sectors of Andersen Corporation. The advances in technology and the impact indoor air quality have on our personal lives attracted Jerry to entering the HVAC segment. Relationship-building is essential for Jerry, and he strives to make a positive impact on each human interaction throughout the day. Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Business at Florida State University and a Master of Science in Business Management at Southern New Hampshire University.

Service Manager

Chris takes pride in providing customers with comfort in their homes by effectively addressing their HVAC issues. As the service manager at Moncrief, he plays a crucial role on the management team dedicated to delivering exceptional service that forms an integral part of our customers' long-term comfort strategy. Chris's commitment to customer satisfaction and expertise in HVAC solutions make him an invaluable asset to the Moncrief team.

Installation Manager

Mike began his journey at Moncrief in the parts department and has since gained extensive experience across various departments, including service and installation. Along the way, he discovered his passion for HVAC system design and installation. Embracing the complexity of the industry, Mike is committed to bringing innovative technologies and advancements to customers' homes.

As the manager of Moncrief's installation department, Mike plays a vital role in ensuring complete customer satisfaction and upholding the highest installation standards. His enthusiastic leadership style and ability to provide unique solutions make him a valued asset in overcoming any installation challenge.

Amanda Mutz Wolski

Marketing & Communications

After a 15-year career in advertising, Amanda Mutz Wolski joined Moncrief as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, making her part of the fifth generation of her family to work in the HVAC industry. An Atlanta native, Amanda is a graduate of Woodward Academy and holds a Bachelor of Arts & Communication from the University of Alabama. Prior to joining Moncrief, she worked at leading advertising agencies on brands including Coca-Cola, Georgia-Pacific, and the Shepherd Center. At Moncrief, her role is to expand the unique legacy brand of Atlanta’s oldest HVAC company and provide strategic leadership and planning for all marketing, communications, and public relations efforts.
